Guelt Nautic on the 2016 Vendée Globe

Armel Le Cléac’h won with style the 8th edition of the Vendée Globe.
On January 19th,2017 at exactly 4:37 pm, the skipper of Banque Populaire crossed the finish line in Les Sables d’Olonne on a single-handed, unattended and non-stop round-the-world race.
His race time: 74 days, 3 hours, 35 minutes, 46 seconds, improving the previous record of the race by 3 days, 22 hours, 40 minutes and 54 seconds.

The team Banque Populaire called on the expertise of Guelt Nautic to manufacture the bulb, the keel and some deck fittings as well as the foils wedges, the main technical innovation on this Vendée Globe.

The Guelt Nautic team is also very proud to have contributed to the excellent performances of the French skippers involved in this legendary offshore race:
